PRAYER FOR PRIESTS
by St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus and of the Holy Face
O Jesus, Eternal Priest, keep your priests within the shelter of Your Most Sacred Heart, where none can touch them. Keep unstained their anointed hands, which daily touch Your Sacred Body. Keep unsullied their lips daily tinged with Your Precious Blood. Keep pure and unworldly their hearts, sealed with the sublime mark of the priesthood. Let Your holy love surround and protect them from the world’s contagion. Bless their labors with abundant fruit, and may the souls to whom they minister be their joy and consolation here, and their everlasting crown in the hereafter. Amen
PRAYER TO THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY
We fly to Thy protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our petitions in our necessities, but deliver us always from all dangers, O Glorious and Blessed Virgin.
PRAYER TO ST. MICHAEL
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
DAILY OBLATION TO THE HOLY TRINITY FOR LAY ADORERS
Fr. Caliente
O MOST HOLY TRINITY, Father, Son & Holy Spirit, take possession of my mind, my heart, my body, and my soul. Everything that I am and have is yours. Let me receive from your fountain of mercy. Heal me of my wounds, touch every part of my being with your healing love. Protect me with your presence and let no evil touch me. May I live every moment of this day in love of you. I give myself totally to you today for the renewal and sanctification of your priests and the healing of your Church. Amen.
“Jesus Christ is the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead and ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, who has made us into a kingdom, priests for his God and Father, to him be glory and power forever and ever. Amen.” (Revelations 1:5-6)
