Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast to our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has similarly been tested in every way, yet without sin. So let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and to find grace for timely help.
— Hebrews 4:14-16

The Purpose of the Confraternity

The Confraternity of Jesus, Priest & Victim, is a spiritual fraternity of priests of the Roman Catholic Church, a direct response to the Lord’s invitation to intimacy with Him, to continued conversion of heart and a spiritual support for all priests and our bishops.  Its members are validly ordained priests, faithful sons of the Holy Mother Church and obedient to their local ordinary, be it their diocesan bishop or religious superior.

An Act of Adoration and Thanksgiving to God

The main purpose of the Adorers is to give ourselves fully in adoration and thanksgiving to God expressed and concretely manifested by the daily celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, an hour of Eucharistic adoration, and faithful recitation of the Liturgy of the Hours, as the greatest expression of our priestly commitment and pastoral office.  This daily priestly lifestyle will enable the priest to be at home in communion with the most Holy Trinity and guided by the maternal protection of Mary and all the saints.

An Act of Fraternal Charity

In addition, the group is to be a strong fraternal support for priests to live in total fidelity to their priestly promises and way of life.  The prayers and self-offering of every member will be directed toward the sanctification of all priests and a means of spiritual support to every brother who is suffering from every kind of difficulty due to his pastoral office or any struggle to sin or addiction.  It is an act of fraternal charity to our brother priests.

An Act of Priestly Pastoral Care

By committing himself to daily and habitual acts of oblation through the threefold exercises, the priest is exercising his pastoral ministry in the most beautiful way to the people entrusted to his care.  Lifting his people and all their cares to God is the foremost pastoral ministry we can do for the people of God.

An Act of Reparation and A Source of Healing

These threefold daily offerings of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Eucharistic Holy Hour and Liturgy of the Hours are offered also as an act of reparation for the sins and scandals committed by priests.  This will also be a source of grace and healing for every priest and people who have been affected by these grievances against God and humanity.

an act of spiritual support for our bishops

Every priest adorer is asked to choose a day, per week in which his Eucharistic Holy Hour is devoted solely to praying for the well being and holiness of his bishop or religious superior.
